Women Gun Owners Association of America LLC (“WGOAA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to www.wgoaa.org, the Armed Female Academy, and all related pages, courses, communities, and services we operate (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Our promise, plainly: We do not sell your personal information. We collect what we need to serve you, secure it, and let you control it.
1. Who This Policy Covers
The Services are intended for adults located in the United States who are legally permitted to own and train with firearms. We do not knowingly direct the Services to, or collect information from, anyone under 18. See Section 11 for details.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account & membership details: name, email address, phone number, mailing/shipping address, username and password.
- Purchase information: products and memberships ordered, order history, and billing/shipping details.
- Payment information: processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers (see Section 4).
- Communications: information you provide when you contact support, respond to surveys, register for webinars or events, post in our community, or submit forms.
- Marketing preferences: your email and text-message subscription choices.
Information we collect automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.
- Cookies & similar technologies: used to operate the site, remember preferences, and measure marketing performance (see Section 5).
Information from third parties
- Analytics and advertising partners, payment and fulfillment providers, and webinar platforms may provide us with limited information related to your interactions and orders.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services and your account.
- Process orders, deliver memberships and courses, and ship physical materials.
- Send transactional messages (receipts, confirmations, shipping updates, account notices).
- Send marketing emails and, where you have opted in, text messages about training, offers, and events.
- Respond to your questions and provide support.
- Measure and improve our marketing, content, and user experience.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Services and prevent fraud.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). When you make a purchase, your payment details are transmitted directly to the processor under its own security and privacy practices. We receive confirmation of the transaction and limited details (such as the last four digits of your card and billing ZIP) but do not store complete card numbers.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, understand traffic, and deliver and measure advertising (including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

7. Email Marketing
If you opt in, we send marketing emails about training, products, and events. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email support@wgoaa.org to opt out. We will still send transactional messages related to your account or orders.
8. Text (SMS) Messaging
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send marketing and account-related text messages. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Your Privacy Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access / Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate information.
- Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Portability — request a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell personal information; you may opt out of cross-context behavioral advertising via your browser, cookie controls, or GPC.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
These rights are provided under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and comparable laws in states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others. To exercise a right, email support@wgoaa.org with your request. We will verify your identity before responding and may need additional information to do so. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
10. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — to provide the Services, maintain your account and order history, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
11. Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact support@wgoaa.org and we will delete it.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect your account by keeping your password confidential.
13. Third-Party Links
The Services may link to websites or tools we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information.
14. United States Users Only
The Services are operated in and intended for the United States. If you access them from outside the U.S., you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. Your information will be processed in the United States.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
