Action Shooting International (ASI) is a fun way to progress from static pistol to a “move and shoot sport”. At ASI, participants can use their regular firearm (.22 to .45) and gear. No holster? Transport your gun from bay to bay with a case or gun bag as all stages are either tale starts or low- ready. Most matches use around 2 boxes of ammunition.
Unlike other shooting sports – ASI has minimal stage management rules. Range Officers, in addition to managing safety for shooter and spectators, act more as a mentor and coach, rather than dinging a shooter for ASI rules violations.
ASI chapters are located primarily in the Pacific Northwest – but there are chapters in other states.
